Please help!

I just bought logic pro studio for my mac and i want to start recording live instruments as well as making some MIDI loops etc. what basic equipment will i need in order to get the best quality sound possible and any other information regarding the making of MIDI loops.

Start by reading the two threads at the top of this forum section. Read lots before buying anything. Once you have a better idea of everything needed, comeback and ask more specific questions - include what you already have for equipment (if anything) and your budget details.
Audio interface (with midi capability)
Mics?
Midi keyboard?
Monitors?
Accessories - cables, mic stands?
