PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I want to be able to record my 5 person band. I don't want to spend over $250. What would be the best way to get our music recorded to my computer? I also want to be able to record all of us at the same time. Please HElp!

I have a computer with 500mhz AMD, 128mb of RAM, and a turtle beach montego II sound card. Does anybody have an opinion on micing my amp, running the mic to a mixer, and then the mixer to my pc? If i have to mic all of the instruments, then what can i use the 1/4 inch plugs for. originally i thought that i could plug my amp into the mixer.
