I just purchased my first recorder used, but it did not come with a manual so I am kinda lost here.
My setup currently consist of..

MPC 2000XL
M-Audio midi controller keyboard
Roland XV-2020 sound module
Behringer UB1222FX-Pro analog mixer(16 input)
M-Audio SP-5B Monitors

My connections currently goes like this..

midi out from my midi controller to midi in onto my mpc. midi out from my mpc to midi in onto my sound mod.
stereo out from my sound mod to channel 1 and 2 in my analog mixer, and stereo out from my mpc onto channel 3 and 4 in my analog mixer.
Finally... main out from my analog mixer to my monitors.

Now... how do I incorporate the VS-840EX with my current setup?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Alright, here's my idea on how you might try your setup...but I'm not 100% familiar with all this gear, so sorry if you find out I'm completely wrong.
Keep everything pretty much the same but instead of sending the 1/4" outs of the Roland and the MPC to the mixer, send them to the INs on the VS840EX. Then record it and send it out to the Behringer for further processing with outboard gear or mixing with mics, etc (I'd say return to 1/4" ins on one and two...so you'll have to get a 1/4"--->RCA cable...or even return to the CD/Tape in). Then go to the monitors. So then you end up with this:

Maudio-->MPC via midi
MPC--->Roland via midi
1/4" of Roland and MPC outs--->VS840EX 1/4" in
Master RCA out--->Behringer 1&2 in
Behringer master out to monitors

Alright, that's my advice....take it for what it's worth. Good luck!
