When you visit the page you'll find music from Gran Torino who an original
funky acid jazz unit with myself on bass, and recording duties. Also you'll find a band called Squib who are a more experimental band but it's all original and you might like it.

Everything was recorded at a little villiage hall and live with our AW16G.

Obviously it's not the best place to record (except that it's quiet) but its amazing what results you can get. Setting up on each occasion was done blind, just micing everything up without listening to it, just using meters.

i listen to a selection of both bands

im gettin into jazzzz lately i like this alot its a nice break from the mundane

everyting sounds good to me but i will leave it to the more experienced here to comment on that

It's mellow, but has bite as well.


..Then one speaker went off and it sounds different on just the left because the body's gone.

Must say, good production work if the recording session itself was done in such a makeshift manner.

Mind, that's the way to learn........................
