I liked it, good separation on the guitar tracks. I would like to feel some face and chest pressure from the bass and kit. High energy. The kick drum did sound like it was just outside that lil bass/kick/snare love triangle.
hey guys, i remixed everything and all and i'm pretty happy with it all....but still please tell me what else i need to do to it to make it sound better...
theres 2 songs up now.. please give me feedback on both.
bass/kick/snare are pretty much the foundation of most rythmatic pieces. They are sorta like one instrument made out of Three. If they are groovin together in tone and time you can build anything you want on top of that.... making them sound like they are made for each other is a hard task some times, but it`s what I work hardest for.
A little low end mids gives a lot of defintion to the drums and bass, but like Brane said, ya might have to take a little off the guitar if you add much. There`s some low frequencies happening on the guitar that Id let the bass and kick drum have. You won`t notice them gone from the guitar because they`ll still be in the mix. They aren't melodic in nature, they are just low tone and rythmatic, so another instrument could provide them and you won`t miss them. This kick has a lot of deeeeep meat on it but is missing some definition in the low mid freq`s. I hope that helps man. You can take it with a grain of salt.. I Like your energy....
Being a bassist, I`m an arrogant silent asshole, But I know where the beef is.
