Playing through 4 track onto pc

I have a tascam ministudio porta 02 and a dell pc. I have a cable to plug into the line in. Only there's just a mic line in. When I go through it I get a ton of fuzz and feedback. Is purchasing a better soundcard the answer. I'm looking into a Dynex® - 5.1-Channel PCI Sound Card. Will that work
 
what are you trying to record? i suggest getting a better sound card. maybe an m-audio or emu. it all depends on what you're recording and what you're recording in the future.
 
Still using a built-in soundcard?? Unfortunately, those are made with less than $1 worth of chips for beeps, boops and light gaming (not to mention cheapness for the manufacturer) and NOT quality music production.

#1 Rule of Recording: You MUST replace the built-in soundcard.

(AND stay away from gamer soundcards.... they are NOT made for quality music recording!)
