no, all I ever do is record. No need to ever play it back, after all, what's the point? :D

i dont know what i'm really asking.... hahaha.... i guess what im trying to say is ...the one time someones post had pictures and one of the pictures was a bunch of rack equipment and below it, it said "here is all of my playback gear" i was a little confused.... cause i thouhgt monitors where the only kind of playback
 
this is the picture i was talking about....is he just talking about the CD changers or something?...... k i guess its too big to put in so.. on the search thing type in "finally got pics" and look for a thread that says finally got pics of my studio ....or something like that

Hey Nick the "MAN", are you referring to 2-track playback systems such as c/d players, cassettes, MP players, computer c/d drives???

I think maybe he is referring to that and all outboard gear: verb, delays compressors, eqs, AD/DA convertors, etc?

I'm on cherry flavored cold/flu relief today :eek: ... I didn't look at the picture so I could be wrong... but, I think the answer to Nick's question is the monitoring system.
 
Nick. I playback my stuff from Sonar through a Tascam FW1884 into a pair of M-Audio powered monitors and through a Behringer headphone amp.
 
I use the space bar. The 'r' key to record, and the space bar to play back.
