Play/Scrub Tools will not play audio. (SX3)

This is really ticking me off. I cant figure out why the play tool or the scrub tool will not work. When I click on the audio event, the line moves along like it is playing, but no audio is heard. The play button in the editor does not work either. The audition channel is working with click/ect. Can someone help me with this?
 
OK it works now. For some bizzar reason I had to make my default device for WINDOWS my presonus firestudio, then it I restarted Qbase and it worked... so weird. Even though I changed my default audio device in windows back to the onboard soundcard the play tool still works.
