So im trying to get my fostex R8 tape machine to go through my mixer and out into the aux ins of my mbox 2 pro. Seems so simple but its confounding me!!!
Going straight from the loom (tracks 1 and 2) from the r8 outs works fine on tracks 3 and 4 in logic, so no hardware problems there..... When i put the same two outs from the tape machine into channels 9 and 10 of the mixer, route them to subs 3 and 4 and then connect subs out 3 and 4 from the back of the mixer into the mbox in the same fashion as direct from the tape machine, nothing!!! It makes no sense from here unless im routing something wrong in the mixer. Can anyone help with this???
