I got these sounds, that be on the ear piercing highs :( not mt. everest though.
I'd like to make it softer on the ears, I tryed smoothing it a bit to no avail.
What plug-ins are best to do this? and what nots to note.
Info if any appreciater is I. respec, peez!

Sorry dude but your question doesn't make much sense. Put down the crack pipe and try to focus.

What kind of sounds are you talking about?

Do you really want pitch shifting or will EQ do the trick?

How did you try to smooth them out?

oh...

In that case, I guess it sounds most like bells.
I didn't try EQ yet, I guess that could work...that's actually what I would normally do, It just never came to mind.

I just used a smooth/enhance plug-in to try and smooth.
I find this only works best for making ruff sounds blend more fluidly in a mix if wanted.

I've just been listening to the sounds and I think I might have just had sore ears from hours prior listening, now in this morning hearing the sounds they seem good now.
I htink my ears were just sensitive at the time.

regardless. I still wouldn't mind playing with pitchshifts to change the tonality. what plug-in does this?

If you want a cheap pitch correction plug, there's the OB tune.

It's based on the Antares Auto-tune. That's pitch, though, not tone. Harsh sounds will still be harsh, they'll just be lower in pitch. It seems like you may not have a grasp on the difference between tone and pitch.
