I've been looking at Cubase SX on Ebay and have seen some for $21.00 Buy it Now!.

Now obviously if the program is selling for $360.00 then the lower price ones have to be copies.

How is this allowed on Ebay?

Sheer volume. If someone does not report it, it goes since they have zillions of auctions. Anything that says "no key needed" is an obvious dupe since ALL versions of Cubase (as well as other Steinberg software) require the syscrosoft key

Maybe the $360 version is a high priced pirated copy??

Grey market (meaning used but unregistered) copies sell for around 300-400

Check the version. I see lot's of older version software on eBay. It still could be a good deal if the upgrade is cheap. Or, it could be pirated. I don't think eBay cares. It's the software company or FBI that sould be concerned. Or lastly, it could be a hoax. Remember- You get what you pay for.
