Hi all,
I have a DJM600 mixer which i dont really use that much anymore as i upgraded to the 800 for my DJ use, i have my Korg Electribes EA1 & ER1 pligged into ch1 & ch2 then the main output is going toto the main input on my Edroil FA 66 soundcard but what i would like to do is use the outboard effects on the 600 instead of using plugins, so the only way i would set this up is run the main output from my soundcard into one of the channels on the 600 then i could use the effects and record it back into the input on my soundcard but this would mean having to plug out the lead going to the 600 and plugging my M-Audio BX5s speakers back in as this is the way i have always had it set up, so really my question is, if i run the main output from my soundcard into a channel on my mixer then plug the BX5s into the main output on the 600 and keep this as my main setup would that be ok or should i always have my monitors plugged directly into my soundcard with no mixer
