Pink noise

Does someone confronted with a prob like pink noise during recording. I use interface like RME 4oo and mic sE 2200IIa and Seq, Logic pro 9 .When signal is on the pink noise starts.Maybe someone can help to solving the prob. Perhaps my setting of Audio interface is bad or something else. Thanks!

Is it white noise you're hearing? Perhaps your preamp is turned up too high?

Yup, pink noise doesn't happen by accident and sounds like a jet engine. White noise sounds like sshhhhhhh.. is that the noise you are hearing?
