picking up my new GT-6B on thurs.

You should have done this research before you purchased it.
 
Ive drooled over the original GT-6 many many times in music stores....its a nice unit.......im not up to speed on the GT-6B though, whats the difference?.....
 
Gidge...I already have the GT-6(6 string version) and love it...the GT-6B is basically the bass version...I have been plugging the GT-6 direct onto the analog ins on my 2480 and I liked it so much I thought I would get one for my fender jazz bass(I don't own a rig, only cheesy little 1x12 rogue combo)...I am hoping it delivers a decent tone to the 2480 thereby saving me a grand or 2 in rig (and mic)costs...
 
oh, a bass model.....i dont know if id plunk out that much on a bass amp modeler...i mean, how many tones do you need for bass.....you can get a J-Station for $149 and it has a few killer models on it......

btw, GT6 and the 2480 is a killer recording setup......
 
...gidge, that's exactly why I'm getting it...it also has digital out...and it's a LOT cheaper than a giant rig AND the landlord won't give me the boot!...yup, just me, my axes, my jazz bass, and my Roland set-ups, a 12 pack...quiet as a mouse!...
