I have a very small studio with an upright grand piano in it. When I record acoustic drums, or even loud vocals, you can hear the piano soundboard resonating. Could anyone offer suggestions on reducing the resonance? I'm using cardiod mics, and micing fairly closely, but it still comes through a bit. The room is not very live, but not totally dead, either.
Thanks for any advice.

You might try pushing some packing blankets or something similar up against the soundboard when you're not using the piano.

Chances are it's not really the soundboard resonating but the strings, which the soundboard is amplifying. Use Tex's general idea, but put a towel or blanket against the strings instead of the soundboard.

Use it to your advantage and create wicked cool resonance/reverb effects! :)
