I am really trying to find a great piano sample collection for my EXS24mkII soft-sampler.

Now, I have recently gotten into the EVB3 and a few other software instruments inside Logic. Now none of emagics' software instruments are "regular" pianos. They have vintage electric Rhodes etc. But no true sounding piano.

I have two questions...

1. Is there a software instruments out there AT ALL that will work on a PC v. 5.5.1 of Logic Audio Platinum?

2. Should I just forget that and get a sample collection for the EXS24mkII?

The reason I ask is because the sample collections are mad expen$ive. $250+
I got the Hammond B3 softweare inst. EVB3, the Clavinet Soft-inst., and the Vintage piano soft-inst. for under $345.
I am no Rachmaninov so I do not care about Sydney Opera House room sounds. I just need a good (great) sounding country-rock piano.

What do you guys suggest?

I hav'nt found any EXS plugs that sound great piano wise.

You would have to invest in a specific softsynth for piano thats DX or EXS formatted. And that will probably cost a bundle for a good one.
I hav'nt done any research on that because Im not to good at playing piano.
