Emeric!!!!!!! wHERE YOU bEEN HIDING?

I just ordered the NEW Yamaha AW2816........

16 tracks [I don't think I'll ever need them but who gnus?]

24 bit, 32 bit DSP.....and, when all done, mix right to CD built into the unit. The 2816 is a smaller clone of Yam's first box of that nature.....but, the cost is lower and the box is SUPPOSED TO BE EASIER to operate. I'll find out the hard way.

Appreciate Emeric's advice and info on CD burners and for his neat work mixing a tape of mine down to CD.

Soooo, it looks like the days of my MD8 are numbered....delivery of the new unit will be a couple of months...but, the MD8 is still a pretty good unit -- if you noticed the price of the MD8 has not dropped like most other BETTER digital recorders.

Enjoy, and, good vibes to Emeric.
