Philbagg actin' the b****cks - 80's style solo

Meh, it's okay I guess. I'm not really a fan of pointless guitar wankery. It is very cliche 80's, which I guess is what you're going for. I don't know why you'd want to, but whatever. :D
 
Dude...flesh this one out and finish it. It's got some legs....needs a little focus...you know arrangement and melodic development, but as a starting point, this one's pretty good. Git on it.:D
 
Actually guys, I have a song that I wrote a few years ago. Recorded it last year (no vocals) and kinda has a similar style to this. The mix is terrible, and I know what needs to be done with it (ie. trash it and start again :p), so I won't be looking for mix critique. I'll post it up in a few hours so you can all shout at me for how bad I was at mixing and recording last year :o

This, I might work on. It is very 80's-cliche though :D

That's pretty good, Phil. You know I had some tracks I felt the same way about. You never know how they could be used. A couple of my bull shit tracks ended up on few indie movie soundtracks. So, you never know!

Sweet! The tone and phrasing are reminiscent of Still Loving You, by Scorpions (who, btw, I'm going to see next month :)) Well done. I'm not ashamed to admit that rock reached it's pinnacle in about 1989 before the world got polluted by Nirvana and Bill Clinton :( Why not relive it often.
