Phase question

Hey everyone,

I'm using a Fostex B16 for recording. I recently transfered some stuff to digital (reaper daw) just to put it on my computer so I can sit in the house with my headphones on and listen to some of the tracks. While doing this I swapped the phase on some drum tracks in Reaper. Yea, they sound better with the phase switch on. I recorded with four mics: two overheads, a Kick and Snare. When I hit the phase switch on the snare its got more snap and bottom end. Same with the Kick.

My question is this: When I do my final mix I'd like to do it completely analog. The outputs on the Fostex are RCA. So, I'm running from there to my board (an old Carvin MX1688 with 1/4" inputs) with a RCA to 1/4" snake. The board has no phase switches. Yea, I know I should have recorded in phase to begin with:facepalm:. Anyway, is there a way to swap phase on the channels I need to? I know if I was using XLR I could just swap a couple of wires but with just a hot and ground (rca, 1/4") is there a simple way to do this?

Ok, so, I've been searching around a little bit and it seems to do this I need to wire an isolation transformer backwards. Does anyone have any specifics?
 
You could build a couple of RCA-XLR cables with the polarity invert built in and go into a mic input on the board. Go to Sound System Interconnection and look at diagram #17. Do that but swap the black and red wires at one end.
