I just bought a pair of AT Po 37s for overhead drum micing. My board (Yamaha MX200) has phantom power but I can't get it to work! I also have a Behringer with phantom which I got to work (I had to actually track through the behri!) Why would my phantom not work? It's not like I dropped the board or anything!

So, I either need to get it to work or find a good preamp companion for the 37s. This is a grey area for me as I have no expereience with preamps. Like I said, they are AT Pro 37s for overheads... any help here?

I'm pretty sure the phantom on the board just isn't working. The LED used to light up when it was turned on but doesn't now.

Bummer... you most likely shorted it out with a faulty mic cable, or by not turning the supply off before plugging mic's in and or out. I guess now you'll just have to take the mixer to the repair shop. :(
