Does anyone know anything about the Peavey TMP-1? Am I right in saying it's a cut down version of the VMP-2?

Does anyone know anything about the Peavey TMP-1? Am I right in saying it's a cut down version of the VMP-2?

My impression is that it is a much more cheaply constructed version of the VMP-2. It is NOT an AMR product like the VMP-2, VC/L-2 or the Tube Sweetener. I'd be cautious. Maybe someone here has one and can comment first hand.

It only puts out 24 volt phantom power.

I use mine on dynamics and stuff comes out great. Personally used it on a number of dynamic mics this weekend, adds a nice warmth to sterile sounding mics.
