Have two of these and am willing to part with one of them.
Here's the story (except it's true! :))...

Bought this one off e-bay, paid the typical amount (around $90).
Tried it out, A/B'd it against my other 520i, and they sounded the
same. Later on noticed... A moderate "cigarette" smell.
Have since used some Fabreze on the (included) hard case,
with the microphone safely away, of course.
Also used some (non-intrusive) volcanic crystals to lessen any
smoke smell. Will explain about this process upon request BTW.

You can read about this (excellent) instrumental/vocal microphone at
www.prorec.com Just enter "True Love", the name of the article, in the
search field. They are rated very highly as you'll see in it.
It was marketed as a drum mike, but like the RE20, it's an excellent
vocal microphone as well. Prefer it to a Shure Beta 57a and Beta 58
personally (less hyped).

Condition: As noted above, good cosmetic condition, with some nicks but no dents.
Works perfectly. Includes hard case.
Price: $50 (US)
Terms: Buyer pays for shipping (and insurance if applicable)
Payment by money order or Paypal (set up to accept credit cards too)
E-mail address for Paypal purposes is cdelfaro@homesoc.com
Shipping limited to the 48 States of the Continental USA.

Don't need two 520i's anymore, so this will be a great deal for someone!
It would be a shame to have this one left in its case unused.
Feel free to ask me any questions.

Chris

Do you think this will make as good of a kick mic as an AT Pro25? I need a kick mic for recording and live, and I'm on a budget. The spec sheet says it goes from 45 Hz to 19k, whereas the pro 25 states it starts at 30 (yeah I know you can't really trust spec sheets). Is the low frequency response of this mic enough for a bass drum?

My zip is 80303, let me know how much for shipping.

Thanks for your message Jay.
Among the various instrumental uses, it was designed for kick and toms.
It has a more solid low end than a SM57 if that helps as a comparison.
Only being a singer, haven't ever compared it with the AT on kick or toms.
There are two other members presently with an interest in this microphone,
and I'm going in order of response to be fair. Will keep you "in the loop" on
availability pending their decisions.

Thanks again,
Chris

Cool, thanks. If they don't take it email me with shipping cost and I'll paypal the money right away,

Thanks for your patience Jay.
One of the (prior) members who expressed interest is buying it though.
Will keep you, however, on my "preferred list" whenever selling another microphone, as I tend to experiment with different ones,
particulary dynamics.

Thanks again,
Chris
