Are these the ones that lock together for transport, plastic enclosure, and small (10" I think) speakers? If so, pass on them. While I suppose they are better than nothing, my experience is that they sound tinny, very poor low frequency response, poor fidelity, and won't handle much wattage.
A friend of mine has a pair of such speakers and we use them for... oh wait... we don't use them at all.
If you're looking to buy, spend a little more. If they're laying around someone's garage, give them a try. If they're not the speakers I'm thinking of, ignore me altogether.
