Peavey Kosmos vs. Others like it (like MaxxBass, etc)

How does the Kosmos compare to other sub-harmonic processors (the MaxxBass plugin and hardware come to mind)?Does anyone have experience? I know they used the Peavey on the Zeppelin DVD, and I know that the bass instruments sound huge. I know its because of that processor (no bootleg 1970s recording could sound so good)

i'm guess its mostly because the bass player...better you play the better it sounds....

anyway to answer the question i use ren bass(new version of maxx bass) it will give whatever you put on it some balls and usually mud(a heck of alot sometimes) to go along with it YMMV
