Pearloid pickguard on a 3-tone strat?

Ok, I'm still not getting this whole pic posting thing :( I'm doing it the same way I do on other BB's but it's still only posting the link not the pic???

Anyway....

The goal was to put the same type of gold knobs on the strat as well, but only with abolone inserts instead of the pearliod one like on my Kramer...I just haven't gotten around to buying them yet. I wanted to change the pickup covers as well, but I think the white covers against the more vintage looking pickguard looks kind of nice. :o

Lindy's: I searched high and low for some pickups, and after long reasearch I'm convinced that you would be hard pressed to find a better single coil pickup.......now keep in mind that these are still not very hot by todays standards, but they are on the hot side of the "vintage range".......very smooth, warm, and chimey! :D

White pearloid looks nice on white strats..... IMO.... ;)

WERNER did you guy your knobs and other stuff all from Warmoth?
 
Well the gold knobs which are made by Q-Parts, (Model is: UFO style) are carried by Stuart MacDonald and a few other places on the web. I think Musicians freind and the like carry them.) Here's a link to some pretty good prices on them: http://www.gtrheaven.com/accessories/qparts_knobs.htm

I did get the pickguard and screws through Warmoth though.

The knobs that are currently on the 50th Ann. are stock "aged" ones (pictured) that I took off of the factory pickguard to use in for the time being. :)

Have to disagree with you on this one... Of course it seems that most on here do disagree with you on just about everything. But that's ok because you don't have to play my ugly guitar.
