pds 8000 vs. akai e1

Ok. So I want a delay and loop pedal. I was looking at both the Digitech PDS 8000 Echo Plus and the Akai E1 (Headmaster?) Loop effects pedal. I'm leaning towards the PDS because it's been said it has more of an analog quality. I'll take all and any thoughts.

my thoughts....find a place where you can try them out, maybe see if anyone will let you take it home for an evaluation period. I think guitar center lets you do that.

Problem with that is it's not possible. They're old models that haven't been reissued. And I havent located a place with them yet. I have located them from a person far away though. Limited time offer thing. If anyone has tried them out, and would have thoughts, that's be sweet.
