PCI Interfaces?

Hey guys, newbie here! I'm in the process of putting together a home studio, and need some advice on what system to get for my PC.

I've been looking at a) Motu 828MKII, b) Digidesign Digi001, and c) M-audio 1010LT

Anyone recommend which I should go with, what's the best? I want to be able to run the 8 sub-groups from my board into the computer, as seperate tracks. They all seem to do that, but I'm not sure. I've never really worked with any of them before, I've always used stand alone units. But from what I hear PC recording can be better, for what I want to do.

Any advice would be killer. Thanks
 
The mutu is firewire and not PCI just to let ya know.

The Delta is your cheapest route well....it depend on how cheap you could find a used digi. If was me I would go with either the delta or mutu. Since you don't need pre's maybe the delta. But don't take my words to your grave. I know their's more people that can give you a better idea here.
 
What about the M-audio 1010? Not the LT Version?

I was just surfing around and saw that one. That one seems more of what I'd want than the LT.

Firewire, USB or PCI, either or will work. I just want something that'll do what I want. Price isn't really an issue. Any info would be helpful.

Anyone own any of these, that can recommend or deter me from buying them?
 
No no, I don't need a digital to analog/analog to digital converter. I just need an interface, to get from point A)my 32 channel mixer, to point b) my suped-up computer.

Right, but the one that you posted a link to was specifically that.. I need one more like the others with 8 analog ins and 8 analog outs.

Not the VGA connector lookin interface thingymabob
 
That could work. But from what I've read about it, it doesn't seem worth spending 3 times more than the gear I'm looking at.

But thanks anyway.
 
I was just throwin it in their. The Mutu, digi, M-audio will still do everything you'll need.
