PC techies, please help!!!!

I am currently running a PC with a celeron 2.0 and have been doing some research. I looks to me like I can switch to a pentium 4. The Mobo is the D845GRG . Am I correct? How simple would this be?

It would be nice if i can. I really don't want to put money into the celeron for a DAW.

That's an older generation mobo but yes it will take a 533Mhz P4

Thanks for the response. I've never done a prcessor swap before, is it as easy as just poping it in and setting the bios? I'm sure I can find an article somewhere. Now I wait a little longer before I set up a larger system. I'll probably just transfer all my guts to another case (this one only accepts half size cards.)

Yep, it's THAT easy. On most motherboards you won't even have to change the bios.
