PC - maudio audiophile 2496 - Sony DAT

Hi Everyone

I'm very new at this bbs so excuse me if this message is in the wrong section.
Can I add 8 channels to my setup via the coaxial digital output of my maudio audiophile 2496?

Basically... no.

The digital out on the card supports only 2 channels of digital audio in the SPDIF format. You would need some way to convert to analog, but that would give you a total of 4 channels only.
