Patch bay routing

I have a question about a patch bay.

I've recently got one - since I record very 'simply' I've not needed one - a friend convinced me to buy one and told me one of the reasons would be 'save wear and tear' on the input jacks.

So, let's assume my set up is very simple.

1 x path bay ([Samson Patch Plus S) (http : // www .samsontech.com/samson/products/processors/s-class/s-patch-plus/)
1 x sound card (Motu 896 MK3) (http : // cachepe.zzounds.com/media/quality,85/896mk3-back-large-0d49daf8b349cac0fedf0b3f2bcdf1af.jpeg)
1 x amp modeller (Behringer V-amp pro) (http : // medias.audiofanzine.com/images/normal/behringer-v-amp-pro-160461.jpg)

I don't have permission to add links to show the back of the units to see the I/O options so the links above need to have any white space removed from the http ://

How do I route this so my input goes into port 1 of my patch bay, the signal then travels via my amp modeller and then through to my sound card?

Thank you for taking the time.
