Well, it's got great guitars, so I love it. Seriously good guitar tones. I'd love to know your recording chains for guitars. Nice job on the vocals Chili. Mix is very good. I couldn't hear any thing to gripe about.

$299 Peavey Vypyr 75 modeling amp. Shure 57 about 1/2" from the grill a little of center and a Blue Bird mic about 3 feet away from that. Mix the two mics to create a single track. That little amp rocks !!!

Yep, sounds great. What guitar? Strat?

Sorry, I didn't like it very much. guitars do sound good as well as the drums for the most part but the vocals ruin it for me. I think some songs are best left alone. Once again, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings by any means so please don't take it that way. I do hear talent in the music and the mix, but I think a different song might suit you better.

No offense taken. Its all good. After letting my ears settle down I'm happy with the mix.

Great take on this old warhorse.....vocals were ok, I think the phrasing was a little diffrent ,but to me it did not detract from the version here....guitars sound great...loved the solo...should it stretched it out 1 more time around ;)...nice looking axe also, dig the color!......how do you do drums?

Alot of copy and paisting. Im not a drummer and I used to just wail away. Alot of timing issues. So I now take my time and do alot of moving and overdubs. Especially on these faster songs.

The guitar is the best playing guitar I have ever had. Ive had Fenders,Gibsons, etc... And I always come back to the Carvin and bench the rest. The picture doesnt do it justice. The flash of the camera made the neck-thru construction stand out, when its really hard to tell. String action on a Carvin is low (real low) and its effortless to play. Its the little things like, neck thru constuction, sperzel locking tuners, brass inserts where all the screws are, graphite nut and bridge that make Carvin stand out. I sound like a damn commercial. Now they have a Strat copy called "The Bolt" (its neck is bolt on like most guitars) that I would like to get next. It comes complete or in kit form. Id like the kit. That way I can paint it up all crazy.

If you listen to Chili when he ends some of his words, he sounds like the singer from "The Scorpions".

Yeah, that bolt kit looks real cool, I would like to try that as well...also the bass guitar kit....

Don't you mean that he sounds like a singer that swallowed a scorpion? :D

Yes. I could hear him doing the Scorpions "Loving you Sunday Morning". Man thats such a cool song.

Yes that is a cool song. The whole Lovedrive album is excellent.

I actually have the album that was pulled from the shelves here in the US because of it being a little to provocative.

I didn't think that cover was even released in the U.S. I thought it was censored before it ever made it here. The first time I saw that cover was when I was in the USAF and one of my buddies brought one back from Germany.

I got it at a small record store back when it was released. I also bought the cassette. Im in farm country USA. I have since lost the cassette but still have the album. :) From what Ive read a few shipments got through. I remember the record store owner didnt have them on the shelf. I asked if he had it in and he handed it to me from behind the counter. Just like the Sex Pistols first album. He had that too. I dont have it anymore. Not sure where it went.
