panel placement

ok im buying a six pack of roxul 60....now my question is where would be ideal placement of 6 panels if thats all i can afford at the moment and want the best place ment i can get?

now my room is pretty much a perfect square but the major problem is i have 2 windows....so i guess how i would i treat these aswell?

If the room is square and you only have 6 panels to work with (assuming 2" thickness), I'd make 3 4" panels and straddle the 2 front corners and use the 3rd hanging horizontally and straddling the wall/ceiling intersection in the middle of the front wall.

any suggestions on window treatment? or will placing the panels properly absorb the sound before it the windows?

i'd suggest using some very heavy drapes you can pull over the windows. if isolation is your concern, then its a whole different problem.
