Palmer PDI-09 Junction review

and it works damn good.

my first attempt at capturing higher gain guitar tracks with the palmer box.
the palmer box is not an attenuator, so i still had to run a cabinet as a load (Demeter Isolation cabinet).
i used a vintage mesa boogie tube head (60 watts)
all guitar tracks:
custom USACG strat w/ bill lawrence 500L humbucker>>Barber DDSS>>mesa boogie mark2b 60w head>>Palmer PDI-09 'junction'>>xlr out to a designs audio mp-1 mic pre>>Maudio 24/96 card>>sonar
no mics.... speaker load was a V30 in a Demeter Isolation cabinet.
bass- carvin lb-70 active>>barber tone press>>sansamp bass di>>a designs audio mp-1>>DBX mc-6 compressor>>>>Maudio 24/96 card>>sonar
drums- ACID
Vox- ADK Hamburg large condenser>>a designs audio mp-1>>DBX mc-6 compressor>>>>Maudio 24/96 card>>sonar

here's the next piece i'm going to add to the equation, it'll come after the palmer box steals it's feed.... and then this will bring the volume down to a 'regular' cab, that i'll use as a close monitor while recording...
