PAiA anyone?

I was wondering if anyone has brought and put together any of the kits from PAiA. I found This company Through the DIY section of this site I was thinking of getting one of the preamp kits and maybe a mic kit. I was wondering if anyone had any experience and what kind of sound quality to expect? Thanks in advance Matt

I put together the guitar tube preamp stack-in-a-box, which was pretty easy. The directions were easy to follow, and everything was there. Regarding sound quality, I did this prob 10 years, and I did not appreciate the finer qualities of electronics and tubes, so I wasn't a big fan of the sound. I no longer have the piece to test its sound quality now.
