That's UNREAL Dave! Thanks for taking the time and sharing picts!!

I'd give you more rep points but I'm out [so the little popup tells me]. :(

If I can find some of my own carnage picts I'll post but if not then I'll describe [a bit later].

You bet!

This is by no means an extensive and complete document of damage, as I didn't capture each and every loss with a camera but here's just an example, from a few years back.

The first is a TEAC open reel recorder - smashed inside / out. The second is TASCAM M308B mixer, packed by the United Parcel Smashers (UPS) Store. That the real UPS doesn't shut them down is a miracle on its own. That mixer was internally broken.

Not shown is a damaged TASCAM 244, 133, TASCAM 22-2, TASCAM 34 and a few others I can't recall.

At least half a dozen damaged deals and maybe a couple which survived.

Good news is that most were replaced with local deals. :)

In order for people to find this thread more easily, I'm including some key words, of some of the more popular buys on the used market [probably missed a few]:

TASCAM 22-2, TASCAM 22-4, TASCAM 32, TASCAM 34, TASCAM 34B, TASCAM 38, TASCAM 48, TASCAM 58, TASCAM 388, TASCAM TSR-8, TASCAM M30, TASCAM M308, TASCAM M308B, TASCAM M312, TASCAM M312B, TASCAM M320, TASCAM M320B, TEAC A-3440, TEAC 80-8.

At least you got your stuff. Last deck I bought was "lost" at the Oakland UPS place.
