PA9/SONAR - Loss of FX Display Workaround
Re: Cakewalk/SONAR/Active X Bug - FX Preset Titles in the Display window disappear after initial assignment.
1) As effects are chosen from the drop down menu, the title is highlighted in the Display window. After choosing the appropriate effect, copy the highlighted text by holding down Control (Ctrl) & hitting C on the keyboard (this is obviously the Windows keyboard shortcut for "Copy", Ctrl +C.)
2) Open "Track Properties" for the track (double-click in the open area of the track pane's title bar, or right-click in the open area of the track pane; & select "Track Properties.")
3) In the Track Properties dialog, place your Cursor in the Description window; & paste the copied text by holding down Control (Ctrl) & hitting V on the keyboard (this is obviously the Windows keyboard shortcut for "Paste", Ctrl +V.)
4) This saves the title of the effect under Track Description, for future reference. Take this step further by typing in the name of the effect in front of the title. Example: "FX Reverb - Taj Mahal." Now, both are saved for future reference.

BTW - If anyone else has already come up with this . . . my apologies.
