I should be able to answer this for myself in due course but am curious as to what experiences others are having. I am assembling a DAW. Ordered PA 9 partially because the book I have [Power CakeWalk] discussed a programming language for programming chords. In the time that I'm having my PC built, I have decided to go with Sonar XL saving a learning phase. Does anybody know whether there is programming in Sonar? And more particularly does anybody know what programming languages are used in audio software. C++
, Visual basic? Are there any analogs to macros available? Many of you may well know how much stronger Excel is with VBA. I'd conjecture that if one got into their language that new levels of activity would accrue.
