I made a sloppy demo of the song, which you can download here:


it's called "oxycodone can't cheat on you", let me know what you think

Well, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with oxycotin or cheating, it's a little wordy, there are some grammatical mistakes, and who the hell is this Oksana chick?
 
I likes it - really like the chorus, reminded me of TRex (in a good way...)
The only thing that jumped out right away was that some of the lyrics were a bit too forced, even for this style (which for sure needs to be heard sung, not read in print) for example the white wine shampoo/Oksana Baiul lines...
Really liked it though!
 
Good song, I like the recording, too...sounds really good just to be a demo.

Writing good music is not worth being cheated on by someone you love. In case anyone was wondering.
 
meh..you get over it..

i just gotta say the two escape velocity songs i like are end of the real world and 1952. the others are kinda b-side sounding.

this song is a good one too.

well if you'd like the two albums we put out, just send me a PM, I don't mind sharing with anyone on this board. there's about 21 songs in total. I think the band is about done, it's about run it's course, it was mostly me anyhow. I'm going to record a solo album (and the song on this thread will probably be on it).

I may get over it, but I'll never forget being cheated on and abandoned by someone I loved. it sucks, but suffering creates great art. I always knew she'd be my muse.
