Overlapsed Audio Clips : How to bring 'em up?

I have problem with audio clips. When I record audio tracks several takes. The new one will go on top of the old one. This mean I couldn't see and edit the old one. How can I select the audio clip that lies on the back (ie. bring it to front) ?

jelly if you are using cakewalk or the like check to see if the record mode is set to overwrite or replace.

Well, I'm using Cakewalk Pro 9.0. I know about combining those clips together but I want to keep it seperately so I have the power to do anything with diffirent clips..

well then if you create a new track you can drag and drop the new take to it revealing the one below. - don't combine the tracks before you do it!

Is it the only way??? I think it's somekind of... wired..
