Overhead Placement??

Hey

My setup:
(2) Behringer ECM 8000's for overheads
(1) Sm57 for snare
(1) Atm Pro 25 for kick
(3) other dynamics for toms

I'm using the ECM8000's for overheads. What would be the best positioning for them considering they're omnis? X/Y, spaced?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each technique?

As they are omnis, does this play a role of how far to place them from each other?

I've been using Tubedude's 3 mic method for a while and wondering if using the ecm 8000's in that secenario would be ok?

I've liked the results with your method. I'm going to start using tom mics as well for some extra defination

Will these mics give phase problems as the overheads are so close?
