Output FX in Real Time in Cubase 5

Hey guys,

I have a Firepod and Cubase 5. I was just wondering how I can get it so the effects play out while I record them so I can hear them or I could use the effects while playing live. There was one other thread about this but the answer was a little to vague to help me out. Something about adding the effects to the input. If anyone can give me some screen shots of what that means I would really appreciate it. Thanks,

What is it that you're trying to add? If you're talking about FX built into Cubase then you have to add the FX (an insert) and make sure the monitor button (little orange speaker) is on.

Not sure about playing live with a rig like that. You'd be way better off getting a decent pedal.
