i do love smilies...
hey there.
i've been thinking about buying an outboard compressor and reverb unit (as well as an EQ later on) for a while now, to use alongside my Yamaha MG12/4, Delta 66 and Cubase.
i'd like to try and keep it under a £100 for each unit, so £200 at the most - i'm not necessarily after 'proffessional sound quality' - at the moment at least i'm in this for the fun/hobby of recording.
how easy would it be to be able to edit individual tracks with an outboard compressor unit and/or reverb unit? i'd also be interested in compressing and adding reverb to the final mixes of tracks i've recorded. does anyone do this?
so yeah, any advice would be much appreciated.
thanks,
Andy
