I experimented with a different drum mix on this jam. I muted the room mic during the verses, and solo'd it during the ..other parts. Does it make for a more dynamic sound? Or do you even notice? Feel free to relay any opinions on the mix.

Louder drums during the verses? I've always tended to mix the drums forward but I thought the level here was pretty appropriate. Hey thanks for the feedback Papanate

Definitely notice the difference, i notice you said "verses" , do you plan on vocals during the muted room mic part? I think it would be a really cool dynamic possibility with some low menacing vocals over it...I always love what you do with your drum/ percussion sounds and tones...very cool

I can hear the contrast difference in the drums between segments of the song. It sounds great man!
