Based on everyone's feedback I made some changes to the mix. I hope this one is better!

I'd love to hear what you think.

Here is the mix with a sudo master job using the MCDSP project studio plug-ins (master limiter and a little analog tape sim) in a separate mastering session:

And, here is the RAW mix right out of Pro Tools with only dither on the Master:

First thing I noticed is that the kick is clipping quite a bit. I don't know if it's because of that, but the snare seems to get lost in the mix at some points. The guitars seem a bit thin and, at times, panned too far out. Can't really get an accurate picture of what it sounds like with the kick clipping so much...

Is the kick clipping on the RAW mix or just that mastered mix?

listened to the mastered link...getting alot of clipping on my system here as well...listening on my work pc ...cheap speakers/sub...
Like the vocals alot...sounds like a cool song but the distorted kick is kinda distracting....

Maybe Im using the wrong word, but on my PC , Im not listening at a very loud volume, And it sounds like the kick drum is distorted on the beats and kinda fuzzy....

Listening now....definitely sounds better (on my crappy system at least!) Kick isn't as overpowering or distorted, and seems to sit in the mix better..I like this song alot and want to hear it were I can turn it up a bit ...being at work I gotta keep it kinda down and unfortunately , I don't have my headphones here today...putting it on a CD for the ride home!

Sounds like the kick is compressed a little too much in the first mix.
