Otari MX-7000

Hi folks: I recently acquired mention recorder. Unfortunately this bad. I decided with the help of you, try to retrieve it. It's 1/4 inches, 4 channels. 4 preamps AF-204 model. I have in the original manual. So original is written in Japanese. I welcome your comments

Xopher, unfortunately JosePena hasn't logged back into HR since 2014, but all is not lost.

If you go to HiFiEngine, they have a copy of the operation/service manual for the MX-7000.

You need to register to download, but it's free. It's well worth it, as they have documentation for a ton of gear!

I just downloaded the manual, unfortunately it is the same as the one I have and the diagrams are unreadable.
Do you know much about the MX7000?
I am trying to calibrate it, but it does not show the procedure covering the rear Bias adjustment.
Perhaps you may know another person who knows more.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't help you with that. The instructions for adjusting the bias is on Pages 51/52. The diagram looked like something you should be able to decipher if you have the machine in hand.
