(OT sorta) Delivering Feedback

Been seeing a lot of bruised egos and ruffled feathers aroung here lately. While I'm a raw noob at recording, I do have a lot of time under my belt teaching people to communicate more effectively. Along those lines, I'd like to share some tips on delivering positive feedback (praise) and corrective feedback (criticism).

No matter what, BE SPECIFIC.

Praise:
State WHAT you liked....
WHY you liked it.

Criticism:
State WHAT you didn't like....
WHY you didn't like it.
WHAT you would suggest to
improve.

Feedback delivered this way makes it very obvious that the intent is to coach and teach, rather than put someone down.

Hope y'all find this useful :)
