[Mr Blues]

I have re-recorded another gospel song that wrote back in 1995.
I have posted an earlier version a few months back but this version is done with my guitarist freind Miles James.

Its the first song I ever composed. hope you enjoy.

Really liked the guitar work. Recorded really well, and they're.... just tasty. Something about the reverb put on the vocals didn't fit at all. The high-freq tails on the vocals just... seemed out of place.

I wonder what this would sound like with some light bass and jazzy drums...

This is a nice because you've removed it from stereotypes that hamper "praise" songs.
the guitar playing is lovely.
The reverb does emphasize the sibilance maybe you could use a darker verb?
I find it enjoyable to listen to you grow and develop as a songwriter, performer & recordist.

I think it works as is. Nice lush sounding guitars and sparkly vocals. Nothing wrong with improving the song as the guys mentioned above. That's if it's within your ability, but your average listener would be impressed and enjoy it either way.
