This is a first effort by my wife.
She wrote it and sings it.
Suggestions

I'm not sure about the delay on the vox. The "s's" are really bouncing all over the place. I'd also like to hear a little more going on behind her other than the drums. A little levels adjustment on this one might do a lot. I really like the deadpan performance - has a real 1950s country feel.

It seems there is a bit too much reverb on the song as a whole. I will add more later still streaming..

Pretty interesting recording style. You've kinda' put verb on everything, and then you're using that 50's era slapback/Elvis echo on her vocal.

Now this is COUNTRY, lol. No doubt about the genre.

The B-string on the totally clean guitar is a little out of tune, and she does some kind of weird phrasing

He doesn't need to be big and buff...through "funny?"... starting @ 2:07 or some sounds kinda' behind the beat and weird...I'd retrack that.

Thanks for sharing.

Tell your wife that this pretty good stuff for a first post here. Cute tune.
I have a suggestion you might want to try, or may not :). This is leaning toward rockabilly in a sort, and I was thinkin after the 2nd verse if you went to the 4th for the chorus and let it resolve back to the root you'd be all set for that third verse, and start the chorus again on the 4th and refrain it. Just a thought... :) it would give you more variation.

The vocals are way out of tune. They are really off pitch. Dont worry its easy to fix that. A good book or singing lessons will do the trick. She just needs to learn to how to sing in tune. After that the song will improve greatly. I hate when people dont comment on pitch problems because that is more important than anything else. Fix the blatant problems first then worry about reverb or what not. I dont know much but I do know when something is off key.

Yeah, listen to this guy. I'm tonedeaf. It's a curse.
