B1&B2

I'd really appreciate some opinions on my first orchestral remix - the track is called 'Separation (Arrangement)'.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks :)

Oh.. and it's not 100% finished yet.

If you're ever looking for a backup keyboard, B1&B2, you might dig the SY-77. Right up your alley.

How did you record this? (I like it mucho)

Nice track B1&B2, you're not from OZ are you? over here B1 and B2 are the two "Bananas in Pyjamas", children's TV heros. ;)

cheers
john

Thanks for checking the track.

SY-77?

John - .. that's where I got the name from :)

The song was recorded with Cubase VST32, Virtual Sampler, Acoustic Mirror, and a few Akai discs.

I'm planning on adding some percussion ... but I'm really getting out of my depth with this classical stuff.

Advice?

B1&B2: sy-77 good sequencing kyboard Yamaha made about 12 years ago. "BATMAN" was written on it. We still use it in the band, even after many MANY misadventures. I love that thing, and the strings reminded me of TRYING to write classical music years ago. Now it's just a stage board.

Have you heard "Six Foot Fruit In A Suit," recorded by Sonusman a while back? It's about the Bananas In Pajamas, and I thought it was a pretty funny song. The band that played it broke up, apparently, but if you want to find it, it may still be at http://www.echostarstudio.com/, try whereever he has his samples.

I really like your music. All the techno sounded GREAT, and I like the classical side, too. It seems you've known what you're doing the whole time, maybe it's time you "unleash" yourself.

sweet sound...hope you get the percussion in, that would make a nice addition to the mix.....gibs

(non-pizzlefizpop of course...:D)

!Pizzlefizpop would fit in nicely i think :)

I just had a go at adding some percussion. All I've got in the way of orchestral percussion is some Roland S-50 samples - and they get 0/10 for quality. So I'll have to do some hunting around to find something a little bit nicer.

I'll upload a new percussion MP3 when (and if) I can find some suitable sounds..
