Rock Steady
Since chuckin the Live card for a real card quite some time ago, I have had to create a metronome by making a midi click track and saving the file. I open this file each time I start a new project, adjust the bpm, assign the track to a synth, then delete the click track before I save the project under a new name.
My question is.... Is there a more efficient way than this in Sonar 2.2 XL?

Where you been lately, Mr Toki??

That's pretty much how I do it as well - except I'm not smart enough to save it and reuse it, so I recreate one for each new project. I don't recall if 2.2 features midi looping, but that makes it quite easy. All you need to do is create one measure of the click, loop it to the end of the song, and assign it to a DXi synth. Probably takes less than a minute. (Of course, this assumes no time signature changes. I never got past 4/4, so it's no problem for me. :D ).

Sonar 4 features an audio metronome, but that's not enough to get me to spring for the upgrade price. <-------- cheap bastard.

'been taking a break sortof. Just getting back in tune again. :)

hehehe I`m a cheap bastard too, thats why I`m still using 2.2. :) I haven`t tried midi-looping on click measure. I just step out a measure and copy/paste it 120 times on the same track. I guess that equate to about the same thing though. That takes less than a minute. I however do miss NOT having to do it with the old SB...

SB rules the MIDI world... Moskus was just jealous... :D :D :D

Oh, and Welcome back, Toki :)
